An eye examination isn’t just a quick check to see what you can see and provide spectacles or contact lenses to improve your sight.
Here at CATS, an examination is a thorough comprehensive examination that not only checks your vision and prescribes spectacles or contact lenses when required but checks your eye health, which in turn can tell you about your general health such as diabetes, blood pressure and many other conditions. We also check how your eyes work together, your colour vision if required, and monitor your peripheral vision.

Being an independent practice we are able to offer a comprehensive range of contact lenses from a wide range of suppliers, including:
Soft contact lenses – hydrogel and silicone hydrogels (providing increased oxygen, enabling longer more comfortable wearing times)

Hearing Care
We have teamed up with My Hearing, an independent hearing aid specialist and our Hearing Aid Dispenser is Debbie Bedford. Debbie is a successful and highly respected professional Hearing Aid Dispenser who has many years of experience and is looking forward to working with our patients.
Not only will you be looked after by our professional staff, your hearing will be in the safe care of our new Audiology team.
