At C.A.TS we now offer a large range of magnifiers/visual aids to assist you in your day to day life.Along with standard handheld magnifiers we also offer more specialized ones these include:

Scribolux – If you have trouble doing tasks like writing cheques, doing the crossword or reading, the Scribolux illuminated stand magnifier is perfect for these tasks because it features a large, open, viewing area for reading and writing. The functional design is complemented by a large 100mm x 75mm lens that provides 2.8x (7D) magnification.

In addition, the Scribolux is portable and operates with SMD-LED illumination that provides vivid lighting and never needs replacing! All of these features make writing checks, letters, cards, and reading easier than ever!

MenasLux – The MenasLUX is a new compact, high-performance, illuminated stand magnifier that provides 3x (12D) magnification in a contemporary design.  Due to its unique lens, the MenasLUX has a wide 63mm (2.5 in) diameter lens that provides a generous field of view.

The significant technology behind the MenasLUX is its unique meniscus/aspheric lens design that combines the benefits of a bright field magnifier (comfortable eye-to-lens viewing distance) and a hand-held magnifier (which allows for a higher magnification) all in one device.

PowerLux – The Powerlux offers the perfect solution for  low vision patients who are looking for maximum vision comfort and exceptional ease of use.

Its award-winning shape is based on the ergonomic design of a computer mouse, providing a relaxed hand position when used over long periods of time. The mouse easily moves across any reading material by both right and left-handed users and, because the lens is located close to the hand position, it offers easy orientation so you will not lose your place when reading.

MakroLux – An LED Bright Field Magnifier that minimizes eyestrain & fatigue!
Patients that are visually impaired often complain that the combination of small print and poor illumination frequently cause fatigue while reading.

The Makrolux combines the following essential elements that help address this problem:
1) magnification, 2) illumination and 3) easy orientation. The 2.2x magnification provided by the Makrolux is distortion-free from edge to edge, and it is uniformly illuminated by a bright LED. Plus, the large 90x30mm viewing area is rectangular in shape making it easy to navigate across lines of text. All of these features allow the Makrolux to provide users with the ability to read comfortably for long periods of time!

MaxDetail – Do youhave trouble reading books, newspapers, the print on computer screens, labels on medicine bottles, ingredients on food packages, train schedules, recipes, menus in restaurants, or their mail?

Eschenbach has manufactured a new product that will take the effort out of all of these activities and make them as easy to do as they once were. Introducing MAXDetail glasses!

These hands-free, head-mounted glasses provide 2x magnification and can be adjusted so that each eye lens can be focused separately [±3 diopters], making the system adaptable to most patients. The glasses will focus on near objects with working distances of 16 inches and are perfect for any near viewing activity where a magnified image is helpful.

MaxDetail clip – Designed for patients who have a refractive error AND want the convenience of an off- the-shelf, near, telescopic system, the MaxDetail Clip allows both needs to be met. With its unique clip-on design, the MaxDetail Clip includes most of the same features of the popular MaxDetail: 2x magnification, hands-free design, large working distance, and wide field of view.


In addition, its clip-on design permits patients to integrate their correction with these features so a clear, magnified image is achieved. Unlike the MaxDetail, there are no dials to focus to adjust for spherical correction!
